Equipment: What we have and can provide is listed here under each room. We do not have additional equipment for use or rent.

  • MAX CAPACITY: 100 (per Fire Marshall)
  • EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE: 40 chairs, 12 tables 3’x6′, 2 tables 2’x6′, lectern (with speaker & one gooseneck mic), whiteboard, white screen (no projector provided). (Note! The lectern has ONE integrated microphone – instructions for use here.) NOTE: You will see additional equipment in the room, including a ceiling-mounted projector. This is part of an AV system that is not yet complete or available.

  • POTS PHONE LINE: One line, 208-334-2005 (you must provide phone). Use the port on the wall opposite the door labelled, “POLYCOM.” There are ports labelled “C3” and “C4,” and these will not work. Local outgoing calls only.
  • ROOM SIZE: 573 square feet. Room layout is fixed, and conference table cannot be moved.

  • Equipment provided in room: Benches for seating. No projector screen. No electrical outlets around room. Single power strip in front; you must provide extension cords as needed.

  • Tech capabilities: At present, there is NO tech whatsoever in this room (i.e. no wifi, network ports, teleconferencing, projector, or projector screen). Yes, there are large screens on the wall. These will become part of an integrated room system, but that project is ongoing.
  • Fees: None for the time being, but this is subject to change any time.
  • Location: Capitol Annex, 514 W. Jefferson, 3rd floor, east side
  • Seating: Fixed seating for 30 in classroom style, curved seating facing front. Tables are fixed in place, no other setup possible.

  • Tech capabilities:
    • Freestanding whiteboard (4’x3′), two large wall TVS, room audio system, single fixed videoconferencing camera. You must bring your own device (laptop, tablet, iPad) to connect via HDMI & USB cable to the wall monitors. You must bring your own dry-erase markers and eraser for the whiteboard, none are provided.
  • Connecting to wall monitors:
    1. Connect HDMI and USB plugs to laptop before powering on laptop.
    2. Power on laptop.
    3. Monitors will power on and display laptop screen automatically.
    4. Use laptop’s volume controls to increase/decrease room volume.
    5. DO NOT attempt to adjust volume directly on monitors.
  • Gooseneck microphone instructions:
    • Touch “Push” to turn on/off.
    • There is no volume control. Move closer/futher from mic and adjust voice volume to control.
  • Handheld microphones instructions:
    • Microphones are in cabinet under lectern.
    • Press “push” to turn on/off.
    • Return to charger when done.

  • Break room available: Off the north side of this room, there is a shared break room with refridgerator, microwave, and tables and chairs. Room users are welcome to use this space. However, keep in mind that this is a SHARED break room with all building tenants, so it cannot be reserved or closed off to other users.
  • Setup: Facilities does not provide setup for this room. You will inherit whatever setup was left by the previous user.
