Capitol Mall Conference Rooms

Conference rooms in the Capitol Mall available for use by State agencies.

 

Capitol Mall conference rooms may be scheduled by State agencies for State business only. Typical uses include employee meetings, employee training, and public meetings concerning governmental topics. Rooms may not be reserved for private use or for profit or non-profit events or sales. Reservations are available ONLY on working days (weekdays, excluding holidays) from 8:00am-5:00pm. No exceptions will be made.

TO CANCEL A RESERVATION: notify us by calling 208-332-1900 at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of your reservation. Failure to notify us in time may result in your agency being billed.

ROOM DETAILS:

JRW West Conference Room:

  • COST: $50 for full day, $30 for half-day (4 hours or less)
  • LOCATION: Joe R. Williams Bldg, 1st floor, west side
  • MAX ALLOWABLE CAPACITY: 100 (actual capacity depends on table/chair layout)
  • EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: 85 chairs,13 tables (3'x6'), 4 tables (2'x6'), 2 U-shaped tables, whiteboard, white screen, TV/VCR
  • NETWORK CONNECTION: For setup call 208-332-1500. Arrangements must be made at least 1 week in advance.
  • PHONE LINE: One line, 208-334-2294 (you must provide phone). Local outgoing calls only.
  • OTHER: Portable videoconferencing may be available, call 208-332-1500 at least 1 week in advance.

 Equipment may not be moved out of or between conference rooms. Reserving agency is responsible for any additional equipment that is brought into the room. Items or equipment remaining in the room after vacation will be discarded. The quantities of tables and chairs listed is subject to change without notice here.


Standard setups available in this room:

 Custom setups must be requested no fewer than three (3) working days prior to the scheduled event.

 

 

JRW East Conference Room:

  • COST: $50 for full day, $30 for half-day (4 hours or less)
  • LOCATION: Joe R. Williams Bldg, 1st floor, east side
  • MAX ALLOWABLE CAPACITY: 100 (actual capacity depends on table/chair layout)
  • EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: 85 chairs,13 tables (3'x6'), 4 tables (2'x6'), 2 U-shaped tables, whiteboard, white screen, TV/VCR
  • NETWORK CONNECTION: For setup call 208-332-1500. Arrangements must be made at least 1 week in advance.

  • LOCATION: Len B. Jordan Bldg, basement, across from cafeteria
  • MAX ALLOWABLE CAPACITY: 60 (actual capacity depends on table/chair layout)
  • EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: 54 chairs, 11 tables (3'x6'), 2 tables (2'x6'), whiteboard, white screen
  • NETWORK CONNECTION: For setup call 208-332-1500. Arrangements must be made at least 1 week in advance.
  • PHONE LINE: One line, 208-334-3514 (you must provide phone). Local outgoing calls only.
  • OTHER: Portable videoconferencing may be available, call 208-332-1500 at least 1 week in advance.

  • COST: $20 for full day, $15 for half-day (4 hours or less)
  • LOCATION: Len B. Jordan Bldg, basement, across from Credit Union
  • MAX ALLOWABLE CAPACITY: 30
  • EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: 24 chairs,1 large conference table with seating for 20, 1 table (2'x6'), lectern, whiteboard, white screen
  • NETWORK CONNECTION: For setup call 208-332-1500. Arrangements must be made at least 1 week in advance.
  • PHONE LINE: One line, 208-334-2005 (you must provide phone). Local outgoing calls only.
  • OTHER: Room layout is fixed, and conference table cannot be moved.

Borah Courtroom:

  • COST: $50
  • LOCATION: Borah Building, 2nd floor
  • MAX ALLOWABLE CAPACITY: 75
  • EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: Benches for seating
  • NETWORK CONNECTION: No.
  • PHONE LINE: One line, 208-334-2452 (you must provide phone). Local outgoing calls only.
  • OTHER: No projector screen. No electrical outlets around room. Single power strip in front; you must provide extension cords as needed.
