Capitol Mall Employees Invited

 

TOWN HALL MEETING about ACHD State Street project:

• Date: Monday, March 25th
• Time: 11am – 1pm
• Location: Capitol Annex, 3^rd floor West Senate Conference Room

An ACHD project that is about to begin will impact travel into and through the Capitol Mall. We have arranged to have an ACHD project representative conduct a town-hall meeting for Capitol Mall employees and tenants to attend, to learn and ask questions.

Project overview:

• Reconstruct State Street between 8th and 4th streets.
• Upgrade all three traffic signals on this section of State St.
• Construct bulb-outs for shorter ped. crossings & better visibility.
• Add vegetated bioretention facilities for stormwater treatment.
• Upgrade existing enhanced crosswalk behind Capitol building to an overhead Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon.
